What you’ll do on a shift
The work follows a clear process built around safe vehicle handling and good customer service.
Meet the customer
Greet customers at Car Park P1 opposite the terminal and confirm the handover details.
Check the vehicle
Complete the required digital condition check and take secure custody of the keys.
Move it safely
Drive customer vehicles carefully between Exeter Airport and secure off-airport storage.
Prepare the return
Bring vehicles back for returning customers and complete a professional handover.
Shifts built around customer bookings
This is not a fixed Monday-to-Friday role.
Our workload changes with customer bookings and flight times, so the manager creates the shifts that are actually required.
You can tell us which shifts you are available for and you do not have to accept every shift.
Once an agreed shift has been confirmed, we need to be able to rely on you to attend.

Late and very early blocks are normally offered separately rather than keeping one driver on through the night.

What you’ll need
- A full UK manual driving licence
- Licence held for at least three years
- Driving history acceptable to our insurer
- Confidence driving different sizes and types of car
- A smartphone with mobile data

Do I need professional driving experience?

Do I need to use my own car for the work?
You need reliable transport to reach Exeter Airport for accepted shifts. Company pool cars are used for operational travel while you are working.
Do I have to accept every shift?
No. You can tell us when you are available. Once you accept a confirmed shift, we rely on you to attend.
Are the hours guaranteed?
No. The amount of work changes with customer bookings and flight times, so the number and length of available shifts can vary.
Are there overnight shifts?
There can be occasional late-night or very early work around flights. These are normally offered as separate blocks rather than one continuous overnight shift.
